Sometimes, when I've got a few minutes to myself, I like to have a flick through some of my favourite websites. Mostly it's fashion related (especially if you can buy online), but I also have some favourite European furriers and there are some interesting fur communities out there in cyberspace - not to mention all of Possum New Zealand's web projects.

+39 is the international phone code for Italy, and that pretty-much sums up this all-Italian furrier. Based in Tuscany,+39 is a family run company that emboides 'Italian-made.' |

American Legend
One of the worlds huge fur merchants/cooperatives and heavily involved with the Origin Assured program along with Kopenhagen Fur. They make some beautiful fur garments. |

Christ Leather
German leather manufacturers for over 50 years, Christ Leather manages to balance their refined aesthetic with an eye to the future, embracing green technologies for recycling and renewable energy. Oh, and their handbags are just to die for! |

Despite being in business for over 30 years, Deigo Mazzi's designs have a very contemporary feel. Renowned for their use of fabric to complement the fur, their products are very wearable. |

Around since the '60's, today Donati Modelli are designed by a mother-daughter pair, and utilize modern technology to create fur garments that fuse style and technicality. |

I simply love the photography on the Egos website! It really enhances their Italian fashion accessories. |

Fauck Leather
Fauck seem to make leather for every industry. They make Lamb and Cow nappa, very similar to Possum NZ's nappa garments. They also do some magnificent dyed leathers. The vividness of colour is breathtaking! |

Fur Fashion Guide
A very comprehensive fur fashion portal with links to online fur stores, eBay fur merchants, fur magazines and fan pages. It also has a fur fashion gallery with over 15,000 images. |

Fantastic Finnish Fur (I am partial to alliteration). Formerly Grünstein, Gemmi has a beautiful range of mens and womens fur garments. |

An Italian fur company, they favor beautifully dyed furs. |

Jun Furs
Manual Cova designed Italian fur. Working mainly in natural colours and white, they make some of the most OTT fur cossack hat's I've ever seen! |

Karl Kratochwil
Specializing in Lamb and Sheepskin, KKBerlin has been around for over 40 years and use only Spanish furs. Their womens jackets are feminine and flattering. |

Kottas Furs
Manufactured in Greece, but based in Germany, Kottas have a boho-chic design aesthetic. The photography for their 2008 collection is magnificent. |

Kurt Jittler Furs
Kurt Jittler is a historic name in the fur trade, being established in the 1930's, and today specializing in wild fur. |

An Italian furrier based in Verona, they have an extensive range of womens fur coats. |

Saga Furs of Scandanavia
Saga Furs has one of the most rigorous fur grading programs in Europe. The quality fo their products is very high. The site has a neat history section with some very retro fur photos. |

While 'Sprung Brothers' might sound more like electronica DJ's, they're actually a well respected Viennese furrier. Their vision is to marry their history (which goes back to the 19th century) with a modern sensibility. |

Modern, flattering fur from one of Germany's best known furriers. |

Their 2008 collection has really tapped into the trend for animal prints. It's all striking Zebra black and white's, and using small splashes of colour for accent. |

A neat little daily update on 'fashion, food and fun'. The whimsical artwork and London 'What's On' guide, makes me daydream about wandering through Covent Garden on my way to the theatre. |
